This year, we’ve seen a lot of hair trends come and go—from trendy cuts to playful textures. But, of all the trends, we can’t seem to get enough of the fun colors we’re seeing pop up all over the place. From subtle ombré to mild pastels to vibrant neons, we’re loving all of the unique hues.

Are you considering trying out a fun color on your own tresses? Maybe you’ve gotten some inspiration from your favorite celebrity, an Instagram account, or someone you’ve seen in real life. Or maybe you’ve just always wanted to try out a color outside the “natural” color spectrum.

Let’s say you want to color your hair hot pink. Unless your hair is already light blonde, you’re going to have to lighten it first. And then you’ll need to choose between temporary or permanent (or semi- or demi-permanent) color—depending on how long you want it to last. It’s a pretty big commitment, with a lot of upkeep if you want to maintain the color.

However, you can try using tape-in hair extensions to achieve a dramatic look without the risks. You won’t have to worry about damaging your own hair with bleach, and you can change up the colors whenever you please. If your job won’t allow unnatural colored hair, try clip-in hair extensions. You can easily take them out and put them back in whenever. Plus, hair extensions are great for testing out how a color would look on you without actually taking the plunge.

Here are some of our favorite color trends that you can easily achieve with our tape-in hair extensions.

Ombré Hair

Ombré hair starts out dark at the root and gradually becomes lighter as it works its way down each strand. Our products let you achieve this gradient look without having to color your hair at all. Just grab some hair extensions that are a couple shades darker than your current hair color. They’ll blend in with your natural hair and help create a gradual color blend.

Neon-Colored Hair

Blues and pinks and greens—oh, my! This year has brought out some of the most vibrant hair trends we’ve ever seen. If you’re hesitant to commit to coloring all of your hair or your job won’t allow it, tape-in hair extensions let you try out the trend on your terms.

Pastel Colored Hair

Equally as popular as the neon colors, pastel hues are making a big impact right now. From baby blue to lavender to cotton candy pink, these colors can be pretty hard to maintain because they fade quickly. With tape-in hair extensions, you can wear whatever shade you prefer for a longer period of time—as long as you maintain them correctly.

Peek-a-Boo Color Strands

Trying out a fun new color doesn’t always have to make a bold statement. We love being able to sneak in a pop of color in an unexpected way using tape-in hair extensions. Just apply whatever color you want in the middle layer of hair for a fun surprise depending on how you style or move it.
